[LS01] Alex Ketzer – Falling Off Remixes 12″

Today’s the day! We proudly present our first 12-inch-record that’s just been released on our spanking new sub-label Leg Spin! On Leg Spin you will find the more dancefloor-oriented tunes that hit the Noorden HQ – fresh beats with loads of boom! boom! and whoop! whoop! The first release is a remix EP with four interpretations of Alex Ketzer’s Falling Off EP that was originally released on tape in 2012.

The A-side starts with Lab Matix whose reshaping of »Remember The Time« resonates with far distant memories and echoed sounds, powerful chords and longing vocals – lost in the haze of Detroit. The track is followed by Baumfreund’s very british interpretation of »Falling Off« which features pushing trombones, straight forward drums and an arc of suspense compelling you to hit the dancefloor. On the flipside maryLA has fired up their analog gear and chips in a very soulful and Chicago-inspired house-remix of »Get Away« giving off a warm yet crisp feeling. The second track on the B-side is Wenzel’s adaptation of »For Your Love« – a deep and hypnotic trip through an abyss of synth-sounds, dubby beats and catchy vocals straight into the sunrise.
