With his eclectic EP »Tape Paranoia« back in summer 2015, Ikpathua left notable marks in the Noorden catalogue. Two years later, the London based producer returns to the label with three splendid cuts shaped by varieties of Dub Techno, Leftfield and UK Bass.
Where To Now? and Peder Mannerfelt signee Machine Woman adds two distinctive remixes of »Oboo« to the package – a creaky dancefloor-version and a stripped-down Ambient one.

»›Oboo,‹ on the other hand, is ripe with good ideas competing for space. Wispy strings, doughy kicks, drum fills, ping-pong arps and bassy synth aches — all sodden with reverb — clump together in a sticky-sweet goo. Two remixes of ›Oboo,‹ by Machine woman, drain its excess fluid. […] ›Unseen‹ and the muddy dub techno of ›Forest Echoes‹ summon rich sounds from sparse material, but Machine woman's subtractions bring out the best in ›Oboo‹.«
»The cherry on top of this explosive combo is Machine Woman, known for her eclectic approach to downtempo electronics inspired by late night listening sessions, tricky Tinder encounters and melancholic fiction movies. The inescapable magnetism between Noorden and the Russian artist materialises in two eclectic mixes of the title track.«
