If there’s one artist at Noorden who doesn’t need any further introducing it’s Berlin-based The Marx Trukker for sure. Companion of the first hour and release resident across all formats: from 7-inch to 12-inch to cassette and now finally 10-inch. The missing link so to say. ›There’s News From 2T5S8‹ marks his seventh release for the Cologne-based label.

Mark on his EP: »The tracks are quite literally a bit of a comeback for me. I started experimenting a lot with acoustic recordings in the spring of 2017 and had briefly distanced myself from electronic devices completely. With this release, both strands of work joined together again, and I combined them in a way that was new for me. Atmosphere-wise it sounds and feels like autumn – but that’s clear anyway.«

While contemplating the right genre for this EP, we got the feeling that we had to think of a new one for Mark. We call it ›Heavy Pedal Indietronics‹.
